Bio
Formally, Cory Scott is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), a EMDRIA certified Eye Movement and Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) therapist, a licensed yoga teacher (RYT-500) and a VITA™ Sex, Love and Relationship Coach and senior teacher.
As a trauma integration coach, she specializes in supporting highly successful people to resolve lingering trauma patterns that have kept them stuck. She helps them to integrate their experiences, harness their strength and live into freedom and expansion beyond their wildest dreams.
Cory’s coaching draws on her extensive experience working with clients and her deep knowledge of trauma, somatics and interpersonal neurobiology. She combines energetic and embodiment practices, along with rewiring and integration tools to unwind trauma responses and re-create a strong, stable, balanced internal ecology.
Along with her private client work, Cory also teaches part-time for VITA™ Coaching and provides professional consultation to coaches and therapists.
She lives on a 78-acre farm in the mountains of southern Appalachia with her partner of 19 years, their two beautiful children, an old dog, a young dog and a clowder of cats. In addition to her extensive studies, she has gained much of her integrated and embodied wisdom from her own journey of deep trauma healing and personal transformation.
